The e-course of Coaching in social entrepreneurship is aimed at high school teachers who have entrepreneurial knowledge and wish to develop or explore the skills and competences
of social entrepreneurs in students.
This e-course covers the following needs of partner schools:
To have various digital tools for the incubators of social enterprises.
To develop a group of coachs in each school using the e-course.
To sustain the strategy of developing social entrepreneruship spirit with tools and human resources.
This e-course covers the following needs of teachers:
To develop skills and competences as a coach in social entrepreneurship.
To improve the teaching/ learning methodology with non-formal and informal methods.
To develop an e-kit with exercises, methods, contents in social entrepreneruship as a tool of coaching
The support for training course in developing a business plan in the social domain will be a tool which will assure the sustainability of the project and also after the end of it, so the
coach trained will have a tool that will help them to train the teachers and students beyond the life of the project.
The support for training course will respect the structure of the training course from Sapin with the improvements accumulated using the everyday feed-back.
Thus the support for the training course will have 4 modules:
Module 1.- Dimensions of the coaching concept, will content:
Principles of student coaching.
Coaching styles.
Description of each stage of the life cycle of the coaching program.
Effective Coaching Techniques.
Module 2.- Contents of social entrepreneurship. Contain the following topics of discussion:
The qualities of the social entrepreneur in regard to the problems of the community as well as with the determination which it will need to have
The case studies from both social enterprises visited, from the mission's point of view, the specific objectives, activities, services / products, budget, business partners, client, a brief
history of the evolution (focusing on the most favourable moment and the most critical moment of the business).
The social business plan, in its every stage, focusing on the questions which every future social entrepreneur must ask in order to develop a realistic business plan, focused on the
needs of the society as well as on bringing benefits to the community.
Module 3.- Methods and technics in coaching, will contain coaching exercises and tools for:
Stimulating the development of the social business ideas.
Identifing the weaknesses and strength of business partners and competitors.
Gaining loyal clients and business partners.
Assesing a business plan in social field.
Module 4.- Box of tools and methods of coaching
Will contain tools for encouraging personal reflection and self-training, promote learning through group dynamics, flexible approach to training situations, development of transversal
competences:
Tools to work with group of students.
Examples of the exercises for coaching individual students or in group in the topic of the course.
A box with non-formal methods.
A box with informal methods.
So that the support for training course to be really a tool to work with for the future local training activities there will be presented the following:
1. Working methods, especially non-formal, which bring an added value to the course, focusing on experiential learning.
2. Organisation techniques (in small groups, in mixed groups, in pairs).
3. Means for working: internet for documentation-researching and realising a presentation; working sheets; presentations, links for documentation and information.
Elements of the innovation of the e-course are:
The topic of coaching in social entrepreneurship, promoted from high schools to a great diversity of possible students.
The accent of the methods which sustain the experiential learning in social entrepreneurship.
The format of the course will be digital with dynamic images and links to the other intellectual outcomes of the project.
The course could be used by each master class for promoting entrepreneurial initiative among students and will be used in optional courses in Economy, Financial Maths,
Entrepreneurship and so on. Each partner school can use the e-course in coaching as a tool for increasing number of teachers who become coach in social entrepreneurship to
sustain the strategy at the school level.
The course will be translated into English and it will be translated by every partner in its native language. Thus the language barrier will not be present.
Furthermore, the course will be posted on every partner's website, on the e-learning platform, and on the Etwinning platform. Besides, an online campaign will be lead to promote the support for the training course to other schools or organisations that wish to promote social entrepreneurship
